The HDS Workbench Top is a permanent bench top solution featuring the HDS dog hole and clamping slot system. It's designed to be fixed to an existing workbench frame, turning any bench into a fully functional HDS workholding surface.

The HDS Workbench Top is made up of 2x 600mm x 600mm boards and is available as a standalone top and in bundle packs. Simple drop in place and secure to your existing bench frame.

There are multiple ways of securing your workbench top, the 3 most popular are as follows.

1. Countersink and screw the top down directly from above

2. Fit angle brackets underneath and secure from below

3. Use the HDS Fixing Kit for a removable fixing.

With the Fixing Kit, drill your fixing points, recess the bolt heads with a Forstner bit, install the threaded inserts into your bench (a little CA glue helps), then secure the top with the M6 button-top bolts — so you can remove and refit the top whenever you need.
