The HDS - Hold Down System is a portable workbench that can be dropped into place on almost any flat surface.
Once in situ, this temporary bench top provides a clamping solution to individuals who do not have access to a fixed workstation or woodworking bench.
Using a unique combination of slots and holes, the HDS allows you to introduce both clamps and bench dogs in order to clamp material in place.
Whether you are seasoned furniture maker, an on-site carpenter or a weekend hobbiest, the HDS will open up all sorts of ways of working that were not there before.
The system is constructed out of two sturdy 25mm hardwood boards that can be flat packed after use for easy transportation and storage or leave assembled and simply stand it on its side at the end of your bench.
Assembling for use is simple and easy, with just 4 bolts to secure and your HDS system is ready in under a minute.
When assembled the system measures approx 576mm wide x 480mm deep with a 288mm overhang.
